We’re excited to share our April 50x52 organizations and thank them for their ongoing dedication to fighting the good fight! From finding loving homes for furry friends to empowering STEM girls, all six of these organizations are proof that you really can make a difference! Learn more about our 50x52 project here.
STEM is a field of massive opportunities, yet only 26% of the STEM workforce is female. Moreover, only 4% are Black and Hispanic women. Science Club for Girls is changing that with engaging programs that help young girls develop a love for STEM and connect them with the resources they need to be successful within this growing field. We can’t think of a better way to Stay Curious!
Mission: "At Mass General the brightest minds in medicine collaborate on behalf of our patients to bridge innovative science with state-of-the-art clinical medicine."
We can’t say enough great things about the frontline heroes who have put their own lives on the line to keep our communities safe during this pandemic. Everyone at Mass Gen exemplifies all of our core values, but most of all they show us what it means to be Rooted in Help: “Anything is possible when people are your focus. We work together to evolve and adapt to any obstacle we encounter.”
Mission: "Shakespeare Behind Bars offers theatrical encounters with personal and social issues to incarcerated, post-incarcerated, and at-risk communities, allowing them to develop life skills that will ensure their successful integration into society."
Just like us, Shakespeare Behind Bars believes that there is good in people and that the world is a better place when we share our goodness with others. Shakespeare Behind Bars seeks to transform inmate offenders from who they were when they committed their crimes, to who they are in the present moment, to who they wish to become. We hope you continue to Build Together for many years to come!
