    4 Tips for Navigating the HubSpot Partner Directory

    It’s possible to find HubSpot partner agencies through other directories, but the HubSpot Partner Directory is the best resource for filtering and comparing potential partners that know how to maximize the HubSpot ecosystem.  With thousands of members, though, a directory search can be pretty daunting. Here are a few tips to find right-fit results.


    What is the HubSpot Partner Directory?

     The HubSpot partner program acknowledges all of the partnered agencies that have executed the inbound marketing philosophy to the highest degree with the HubSpot platform. The Hubspot Partner Directory (now called the “HubSpot Solutions Directory”) is where you can go to find these stand-out marketing masters.

    There are literally thousands of HubSpot partner agencies, from industry-focused marketing teams to solo sales consultants, listed in the HubSpot partner directory.  In its purest form, this directory of “Solutions” acts as a one-stop, comprehensive search database to find and connect with the right inbound marketing or sales partner. It’s also a great tool for comparing the capabilities of competing agencies and evaluating them based upon case studies and real client reviews.

    But with such an overwhelming flood of options, where do you start and how do you identify the top contenders based upon your needs?  Here are a few tips to help you navigate the HubSpot partner directory and find a partner who will be the right fit for your business.

    How to Navigate the HubSpot Partner Directory:

    1. Don’t Just Click “Search.” Use the HubSpot Directory Filters:

    Advanced filters (on the left side of the HubSpot directory interface) make it possible to narrow down your search by traits like location, industry, or individual marketing and sales service offerings. The option to filter by these criteria is just one way the HubSpot directory simplifies your search for a right-fit marketing partner. 

    • INDUSTRIES: Perhaps you’re interested in working with HubSpot marketing agencies that have specialized insights into the pain points and business habits of your industry. The HubSpot partner directory features 36 industry categories (plus “other”) to help users find providers that have focused experience with companies similar to yours.
    • SERVICES: You can filter by service offering to find partners who can help with a specific need in your marketing or sales strategy.  Some agencies are dynamic, and will have specialization in many or all of these services, while others will specialize only in one or a select few services. Here’s just a small sample of the kinds of services you can filter by:
    • COUNTRIES / LANGUAGES: Many businesses prefer to work with agencies that it would be possible to meet with in person, or that speak their native language.  Filtering by country, state, and/or language is one way to help you hone in specifically on HubSpot partner agencies that are most relevant to you.
    • BUDGET: There are four budget tier filters to choose from ($0-2500, $2500-5000, $5000+, and Any Budget) so you can ensure that your search will only bring up agencies that are a good fit for your needs.

    Because HubSpot ensures that all of its directory filters are Google-indexed, there’s actually a faster option than loading the full HubSpot Solutions Directory page, if you’re in a hurry: a Google search.

    That’s right; you can find HubSpot partner agencies in your area or in your vertical by formatting a search in Google like this:

    “HubSpot Agencies in [Location or Industry]”

    The top non-advertisement results will link you to pre-filtered HubSpot partner directory lists of the top agencies that fit those criteria.

    3. Review Each Partner’s Profile Page Before Calling.

    Each partner’s profile page (clickable from the search results) will feature more helpful information for evaluating the agency.  You’ll find a description of their company, a list of their HubSpot certifications, info on pricing, any awards or accolades, and a link to their website for more information.  This quick glance is valuable for doing a gut check before diving down the rabbit hole of meetings and phone calls in order of search results.

    Most agencies will also help you engage with them in a way that works best for you (by including a phone number, contact form, and live chat link, for example).     4. Hone In On Partner Tiers.

    Each agency or firm included in the HubSpot partner program will have a specialization in at least one (and maybe even all three) of the HubSpot Hubs: Marketing, Sales, and Service. However, there’s a lot more to mastering HubSpot than buying the software and getting a “Partner” certification. 

    Membership in one of the four prestigious partner tiers—Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Elite (a recent addition)—is a sure sign that the agency has maintained a high level of performance with their Hub or Hubs of choice and manages a large volume of clients that use HubSpot software.  In other words, a tiered partner has demonstrated experience and mastery of HubSpot’s many excellent features. By providing positive results to numerous clients, they’ve earned the trust of HubSpot and can showcase it with a tier label.

    Starting with the very top tier will not always lead you to the best partner for your company’s individual needs, but with that said, only 1% of partners earn Diamond certification and above. You can be sure any agency operating at that level is a master of their craft.
